When to choose a clean-service control valve
STERI-TROL is aimed at duties where the valve has to do more than isolate or reduce pressure. It is better suited to applications that need repeatable modulation, automated positioning or diverting control while still meeting the drainability and cleanability expectations of hygienic process lines.
That makes it relevant on systems where control stability and hygienic valve design have to be solved together, rather than by adapting a general industrial control valve into a clean-service environment later.
